Spectators: 6954 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1954, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bjorn Axmann kicked off to start the match. When Lloyd Searle came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Abbey Wood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lloyd Searle couldn't finish the play. In the 5thth minute of the game Perry Townson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oswaldtwistle FC's Danny Hopf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Perry Townson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Danny Hopf. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perry Townson in the 12th minute of play forced Oswaldtwistle FC's goalkeeper Danny Hopf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joe Dingle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bjorn Axmann's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Bodo Habich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perry Townson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Lloyd Searle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abbey Wood's supporters rose to their feet, but Lloyd Searle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danny Hopf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danny Hopf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry Townson in the 27th minute of the match. Perry Townson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Hopf having to interfere. The Abbey Wood fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Abbey Wood's Perry Townson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abbey Wood's goalkeeper Joe Dingle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lloyd Searle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Hopf having to interfere. If Perry Townson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute, Martin Heidenreich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Hopf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Townson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Zack Eslworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Hopf having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oswaldtwistle FC's Axel Lambert got a free kick in the 69th minute. Johnny West didn't quite understand what happened when in the 70 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Danny Hopf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perry Townson in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Oswaldtwistle FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Heidenreich. Danny Hopf came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Abbey Wood's Perry Townson. But to his dismay, Perry Townson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Danny Hopf came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Abbey Wood's Lloyd Searle. But to his dismay, Lloyd Searle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 83rd minute, Bodo Habich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes, Abbey Wood's Adrian Clifton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danny Hopf came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abbey Wood reached it. In the 87th match minute, Oswaldtwistle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Otto to maneuver through the defense. Danny Hopf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Townson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abbey Wood's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
