Rodd Langley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jay Darby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Friedrich Pflaumenbaum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodd Langley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Bromsgrove City's zone, Friedrich Pflaumenbaum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodd Langley came out of the goal and Friedrich Pflaumenbaum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Bromsgrove City's goalkeeper Rodd Langley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Friedrich Pflaumenbaum. In the 94th minute of the match Pedro Horado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodd Langley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rufus Blacknell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jasper Holz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded UNITED left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bromsgrove City.
