Spectators: 8428 (Terracing: 6322, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) Jermaine Kent started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, C.A. Spora's goal looked a bit too open when Jermaine Kent came free, but Leo Schmitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 4 minutes, CJ Vickers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burnham on Crouch and the C.A. Spora players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, CJ Vickers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A. Spora's Bernhard Hommel got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Burnham on Crouch booed when C.A. Spora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Babo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernhard Hommel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Andreas Fröhlich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the game, Stefan Schiltz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Spora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burnham on Crouch the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.A. Leo Schmitz came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Burnham on Crouch's Jermaine Kent. But to his dismay, Jermaine Kent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute, Bernhard Hommel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ron Tipton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Fröhlich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Burnham on Crouch got a penalty, and Allan Avery placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Leo Schmitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jermaine Kent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Leo Schmitz managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Burnham on Crouch's Aaron Dawes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aaron Dawes might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Schmitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Dawes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jermaine Kent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Fröhlich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, C.A. Spora's Elmar Imhoff got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
