After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Edward Sax managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fussballclub Diekirch's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Sax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Braunstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joseph Braunstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Majerus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudy Kampf's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Mark Fabricius skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rudy Kampf's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mark Fabricius firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joseph Braunstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Drachmann in the 33rd minute of play. Fussballclub Diekirch's Mark Fabricius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jupp Fabeck in the 36th minute of play. Edward Sax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudy Kampf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudy Kampf who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Mark Fabricius when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Wilhelm Drachmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joseph Braunstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Joseph Braunstein was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Wilhelm Drachmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilhelm Drachmann really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. 61 minutes into the match, Fussballclub Diekirch's goal looked a bit too open when Jupp Fabeck came free, but Mark Fabricius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jupp Fabeck in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Fabricius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mark Fabricius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Kampf in the 71st minute of play. After 80 played minutes Pandalists F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nick Fährmann. The supporters of Fussballclub Diekirch booed when Pandalists F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Fährmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thom Böckler, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
