Spectators: 8500 (Terracing: 6580, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 70) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eddie Lichtenstein got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Wercollier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Weiss was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 5th match minute, FC Fano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Wercollier to maneuver through the defense. CS Fola's Hugo Weiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Wercollier in the 11th minute of play. Jonathan Wercollier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Hugo Weiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Eddie Lichtenstein cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dietrich Winkler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Wercollier during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes FC Fano got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Wercollier. If Evren Cambaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Wercollier, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Friedrich Katzenbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eddie Lichtenstein in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dietrich Winkler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Jonathan Wercollier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CS Fola's Hugo Weiss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Fano's Karl Beauchêne managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by David von Etzdorf in the 56 minute of the game. Evren Cambaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evren Cambaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, CS Fola's goal looked a bit too open when Evren Cambaz came free, but Hugo Weiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evren Cambaz in the 63rd minute of play forced CS Fola's goalkeeper Hugo Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes of play, FC Fano's Evren Cambaz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Weiss was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dietrich Winkler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friedrich Katzenbach in the 74th minute. Jonathan Wercollier succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Evren Cambaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Weiss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Hugo Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Wercollier in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Jonathan Wercollier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Hugo Weiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evren Cambaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the FC Fano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
