Adrian Beermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Osswald in the 9th minute of play. Adrian Beermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvester Auerswald in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Georg Osswald left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RedBoys Lëtzebuerg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The North Petherton City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Beermann should have stopped the shot. Adrian Beermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Claude von Ancken in the 33rd minute of play. Adrian Beermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Osswald, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in North Petherton City's zone, Silvester Auerswald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Beermann came out of the goal and Silvester Auerswald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Frankie Weiss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Blumenthal in the 46th minute of play forced RedBoys Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper Philip Pröll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Blumenthal made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvester Auerswald in the 52nd minute of play forced North Petherton City's goalkeeper Adrian Beermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. North Petherton City's Adrian Beermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Osswald in the 77th minute of play. Georg Osswald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Adrian Beermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Daniel Hattendorf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Gerry Krier sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Adrian Beermann threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Gerry Krier this time. In the 93rd minute, North Petherton City's Frankie Weiss seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Frankie Weiss the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of North Petherton City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Frankie Weiss had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for North Petherton City! Gerry Krier placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 97 minutes into the match, Jean-Claude von Ancken notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of North Petherton City's Adrian Beermann. Adrian Beermann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over RedBoys Lëtzebuerg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than North Petherton City throughout the match.
