Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Albert Hopf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Lichtenstein in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, CS Fola's Wally Klopp seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wally Klopp the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CS Fola protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wally Klopp had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 4th minute, one of CS Fola:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CS Fola. After 18 minutes, Jan Hartmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Continental United and the CS Fola players grew even worse after the yellow card. CS Fola's Eddie Braunstein was substituted for Eddie Lichtenstein. After 19 played minutes Continental United got a freekick which was hit by Jan Hartmann. Hugo Weiss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregory von Knyphausen went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Gottfried Lampadius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eddie Braunstein in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Hopf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Weiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jupp Seimetz in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Continental United's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Braunstein came free, but Albert Hopf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eddie Braunstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42ndth minute of the game Eddie Braunstein who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Continental United's Albert Hopf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eddie Braunstein took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Hopf. Albert Hopf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After 51 played minutes Continental United got a freekick which was hit by Jupp Seimetz. In the 53rd minute, Laurent Kirchen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, CS Fola's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory von Knyphausen came free, but Hugo Weiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, one of Continental United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nick Nassau got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mattias Rosenblatt. After having played for 69 minutes, Eddie Braunstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CS Fola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Braunstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Continental United's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Braunstein came free, but Albert Hopf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Continental United's Albert Hopf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Braunstein in the 81st minute of play. When CS Fola's Eddie Braunstein in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Continental United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute, CS Fola's Eddie Braunstein ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albert Hopf. Albert Hopf yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Nick Nassau kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Continental United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though CS Fola had controlled the match.
