In the 36th minute of the match Alfred Kremer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florian Hopf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st match minute, Kerkezer AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Hasselbach to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Kerkezer AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Weiss came free, but Florian Hopf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralf Faas kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Blumenthal to make the kick off. With his leg Florian Hopf managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when North Petherton City's Jan Blumenthal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. North Petherton City's Jan Blumenthal got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Florian Baumstark had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Bodo von Waldersee charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bodo von Waldersee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. North Petherton City's Ludwig Bäcker was substituted for Florian Baumstark. The supporters of North Petherton City booed when Kerkezer AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bodo von Waldersee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florian Hopf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Blumenthal's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Though ot was a great shot Kerkezer AFC's keeper Florian Hopf was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 94 minutes into the match, Kerkezer AFC's goalkeeper Florian Hopf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Blumenthal. North Petherton City were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
