Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kerkezer AFC's Fred von Knyphausen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Florian Hopf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Beauchêne, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Evren Cambaz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kerkezer AFC's Florian Hopf. Florian Hopf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evren Cambaz struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Florian Hopf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fano. In the 14th minute Jonathan Wercollier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Hopf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, FC Fano's Jonathan Wercollier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florian Hopf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 20th match minute, FC Fano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerd Fröhlich to maneuver through the defense. Jupp Häussler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl Beauchêne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Hopf having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Jonathan Wercollier made a precise shot to the right of Florian Hopf. Kerkezer AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Dietrich Winkler came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Kerkezer AFC's Joel Winkler. But to his dismay, Joel Winkler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Evren Cambaz scored 1-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florian Hopf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 40 minutes of play, FC Fano's Jonathan Wercollier made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florian Hopf was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evren Cambaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florian Hopf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evren Cambaz in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, FC Fano's Jerry Finkelstein sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florian Hopf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evren Cambaz was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FC Fano's Jonathan Wercollier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florian Hopf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Jonathan Wercollier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Florian Hopf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Karl Beauchêne managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Fano's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Beauchêne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Hopf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When FC Fano's Jonathan Wercollier in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kerkezer AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Evren Cambaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Florian Hopf made a huge save. Evren Cambazs short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Florian Hopf to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 67th match minute, Kerkezer AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred von Knyphausen to maneuver through the defense. Gerd Fröhlich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Hopf having to interfere. If Evren Cambaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Evren Cambaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florian Hopf. Kerkezer AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evren Cambaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. Evren Cambaz in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Florian Hopf, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wally Auffarth charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wally Auffarth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kerkezer AFC booed when FC Fano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wally Auffarth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kerkezer AFC's Florian Hopf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Wercollier in the 92nd minute of play. With his leg Florian Hopf managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when FC Fano's Evren Cambaz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the last second Florian Hopf throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jonathan Wercollier in the 95thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. FC Fano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
