Adrian Modig started the match with the kick off. Philip von Prittwitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Modig, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adrian Modig sped through F91 Dudelange's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Philip von Prittwitz. A collision led to F91 Dudelange getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dennis Gottschalk hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, F91 Dudelange's Dennis Gottschalk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Magro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Christian Achenbach kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Philip von Prittwitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Modig in the 30th minute of play. Christian Achenbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip von Prittwitz having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Adrian Modig notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of F91 Dudelange's Philip von Prittwitz. Philip von Prittwitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Modig struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Philip von Prittwitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for luxsTarss. In the 44th minute, Adrian Modig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The luxsTarss fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

The wind increased when Jean-Claude Eberhardt made the kick off in the second half. Jean-Claude Eberhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Victor Magro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Magro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Claude Eberhardt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Modig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip von Prittwitz having to interfere. Philip von Prittwitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Achenbach in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Gustav Heisenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. luxsTarss's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Heisenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Adrian Modig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Magro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Kühnhackl in the 68th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Christian Achenbach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the luxsTarss and the F91 Dudelange players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christian Achenbach hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to F91 Dudelange getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Otto Kühnhackl hit a great ball. Gustav Heisenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Philip von Prittwitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adrian Modig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip von Prittwitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Modig in the 77th minute of play. Adrian Modig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in F91 Dudelange's zone, Adrian Modig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip von Prittwitz came out of the goal and Adrian Modig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Adrian Modig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, F91 Dudelange's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christian Achenbach fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
