When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Felix Nassau-Weilburg sped through Union Remich Bous's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ollie Helminger. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Nassau-Weilburg during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felix Nassau-Weilburg kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Stanway getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Heiko Heinsohn hit a great ball. Union Remich Bous's Christof Feldstein got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexander von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ollie Helminger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stanway. After having played for 30 minutes, Liam Feldstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stanway's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liam Feldstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christof Feldstein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Claus Hasselbach made a huge save. In the 35th minute of the match Union Remich Bous got a corner. Stanway's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacques Löw ran over to the corner to take the kick. Union Remich Bous's Liam Baumgärtner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Claus Hasselbach in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Union Remich Bous were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Stanway's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacques Löw took the corner. Union Remich Bous's Jacques Löw was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Claus Hasselbach in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 45 minutes Union Remich Bous's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felix Nassau-Weilburg who took care of the corner kick. Liam Baumgärtner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Hasselbach having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Eddie Knubel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ollie Helminger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Felix Nassau-Weilburg notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Union Remich Bous's Ollie Helminger. Ollie Helminger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Stanway booed when Union Remich Bous was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Stoffel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanway's Claus Hasselbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christof Feldstein in the 58th minute of play. If Felix Nassau-Weilburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute of the match Leo Helminger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ollie Helminger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Union Remich Bous's Liam Baumgärtner made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claus Hasselbach was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, Union Remich Bous's goalkeeper Ollie Helminger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Nassau-Weilburg. Liam Baumgärtner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claus Hasselbach came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Union Remich Bous's Liam Baumgärtner. But to his dismay, Liam Baumgärtner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The supporters of Union Remich Bous booed when Stanway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Diederich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claus Hasselbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christof Feldstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Union Remich Bous had won after a very even match.
