After some careless play in the luxsTarss defense, Walter Lampadius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Magro. The luxsTarss fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Magro should have stopped the shot. When Walter Lampadius came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Racing Club Luxembourg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Lampadius couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armin Hasselbach during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Armin Hasselbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Racing Club Luxembourg's Victor Magro threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Walter Lampadius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 47 minutes of play, luxsTarss's Adrian Modig made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip Geschwind was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walter Lampadius to make the kick off. If Thibault Klepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Racing Club Luxembourg's Walter Lampadius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Magro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Lampadius in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Magro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Walter Lampadius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Magro was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. luxsTarss's Christian Achenbach suffered a concussion in the 64th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 64 minutes into the game, Gustav Ludwick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club Luxembourg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave luxsTarss the free kick. After a rather tough play, Racing Club Luxembourg's Gustav Ludwick got a free kick in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in luxsTarss's zone, Eddie Auspitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Magro came out of the goal and Eddie Auspitz tried to chip the ball over his head. Racing Club Luxembourg's Philip Geschwind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Modig in the 76th minute of play. Victor Magro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Lampadius in the 77th minute of play. Victor Magro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club Luxembourg. After 94 played minutes, luxsTarss's Dennis Wolf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Philip Geschwind came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in luxsTarss reached it. In the 94th minute, Gustav Ludwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. luxsTarss's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
