Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jean-Claude Eberhardt got the match started through his kick off. Racing Club Luxembourg's Walter Lampadius got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the game, Abraham Zimmermann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F91 Dudelange's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club Luxembourg the free kick. In the 4th match minute, F91 Dudelange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Zimmermann to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in F91 Dudelange's zone, Thibault Klepper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip von Prittwitz came out of the goal and Thibault Klepper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Racing Club Luxembourg booed when F91 Dudelange was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Kühnhackl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Lampadius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Philip von Prittwitz made a huge save. If Eddie Auspitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Bart Thielemann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip von Prittwitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 30th minute, Racing Club Luxembourg's Walter Lampadius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 34 minutes into the match, F91 Dudelange's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Auspitz came free, but Philip von Prittwitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip von Prittwitz stood somewhat misplaced when Walter Lampadius came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 40 minute. Philip Geschwind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Gottschalk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Lampadius who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Philip von Prittwitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Philip von Prittwitz was a little too slow when Gustav Ludwick got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Lampadius made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Walter Lampadius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Philip von Prittwitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Philip von Prittwitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Lampadius in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Gottfried von Hompesch zu Bolheim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philip von Prittwitz skillfully saved the ball. Walter Lampadius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Racing Club Luxembourg's Gustav Ludwick got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Walter Lampadius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Jean-Claude Eberhardt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Geschwind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Braunstein hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Walter Lampadius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip von Prittwitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing Club Luxembourg's Bart Thielemann managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Victor Hauer in the 79 minute of the game. Bart Thielemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Victor Hauer from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Philip Geschwind's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in F91 Dudelange's zone, Walter Lampadius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip von Prittwitz came out of the goal and Walter Lampadius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dagobert Auf der Maur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip von Prittwitz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bart Thielemann during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Racing Club Luxembourg got a freekick which was hit by Bart Thielemann. Racing Club Luxembourg's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jean-Claude Eberhardt 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Racing Club Luxembourg players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
