Franck Klepper scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philip von Prittwitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Franck Klepper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Philip von Prittwitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Lynx FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match had been going on for 55 minutes, Lynx FC's Jérôme Kachel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Philip von Prittwitz. Philip von Prittwitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franck Klepper in the 59th minute. A hard shot by Jérôme Kachel from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Philip von Prittwitz's attention. When Perry Beicht came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Lynx FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perry Beicht couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Lynx FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than F91 Dudelange.
