Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Walter Lampadius kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Stanway booed when Racing Club Luxembourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Thielemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eddie Auspitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Fred Bruckmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Walter Lampadius notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Stanway's Fred Bruckmann. Fred Bruckmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the game, George Bodenheimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Philip Geschwind was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute of the match Lucien Grasmück sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philip Geschwind skillfully saved the ball. Fred Bruckmann didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Racing Club Luxembourg's Walter Lampadius shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 30 minutes into the match, Stanway's goalkeeper Fred Bruckmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walter Lampadius. Walter Lampadius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Bruckmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Fred Bruckmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Lampadius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Lampadius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Bruckmann having to interfere. A collision led to Racing Club Luxembourg getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Eddie Auspitz hit a great ball. Aaron Brötzmann hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Bodenheimer made a kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Stanway's George Bodenheimer tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Bodenheimer in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Geschwind prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fred Bruckmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Lampadius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Lampadius took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Bruckmann. Fred Bruckmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Walter Lampadius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Walter Lampadius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Bruckmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Walter Lampadius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fred Bruckmann was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Lampadius in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Bruckmann saved Stanway from getting behind. In the 74th minute, George Bodenheimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Lampadius in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Bruckmann saved Stanway from getting behind. After 76 minutes Stanway's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walter Lampadius who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Walter Lampadius almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stanway's Fred Bruckmann did a great save. Fred Bruckmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Lampadius, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Walter Lampadius took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Bruckmann. Fred Bruckmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Racing Club Luxembourg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
