Racing Club Luxembourg's Philip Geschwind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Schleck in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Walter Lampadius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Juncker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Hawkcombe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rudolph Hauck in the 16th minute. Fred Nosbusch made a great header on Hawkcombe's corner, it was just that Racing Club Luxembourg's Philip Geschwind managed to reach the ball for a save. Henry Juncker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Lampadius's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Racing Club Luxembourg's Walter Lampadius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Philip Geschwind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Schleck, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Hawkcombe booed when Racing Club Luxembourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Ludwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Walter Lampadius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Juncker was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Hawkcombe's Julian Horowitz got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Racing Club Luxembourg's Gustav Ludwick got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Philip Geschwind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Schleck in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 51st match minute, Hawkcombe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Nosbusch to maneuver through the defense. Walter Lampadius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddie Auspitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Eddie Auspitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Juncker was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience was convinced that Walter Lampadius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Juncker was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Walter Lampadius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Juncker having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Eddie Auspitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Juncker was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 86th minute, Walter Lampadius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club Luxembourg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Gustav Ludwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Racing Club Luxembourg had played much better football throughout.
