Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Perry Beicht made the kick off and thus started the match. Brierley Hill FC's Hayden Bartrup proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Brierley Hill FC from getting a goal against them. Vance Barr took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Kiefer. Daniel Kiefer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jeff Cousins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Kiefer having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lynx FC defense, Vance Barr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Kiefer. The Lynx FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Kiefer should have stopped the shot. Hayden Bartrup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry Beicht in the 28th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play, Lynx FC's Perry Beicht made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hayden Bartrup was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute, Perry Beicht made a precise shot to the right of Hayden Bartrup. Brierley Hill FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Franck Klepper struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Hayden Bartrup didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lynx FC. Vance Barr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Daniel Kiefer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hayden Bartrup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Beicht, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brierley Hill FC's goalkeeper Hayden Bartrup, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeff Cousins to make the kick off. Franck Klepper might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hayden Bartrup. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franck Klepper ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 55 minutes, Franck Klepper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lynx FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franck Klepper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doug Dennison's late challenge caught a Lynx FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doug Dennison helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Doug Dennison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Perry Beicht in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayden Bartrup saved Brierley Hill FC from getting behind. Hayden Bartrup took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Beicht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hayden Bartrup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perry Beicht in the 65th minute of play. Perry Beicht's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hayden Bartrup read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Perry Beicht had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hayden Bartrup. Brierley Hill FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perry Beicht was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Hayden Bartrup didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Perry Beicht went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Fitz Hartley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Kiefer was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Perry Beicht left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lynx FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Franck Klepper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayden Bartrup having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brierley Hill FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lynx FC.
