Szczepan Wojtkiewicz started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute of the match Arnt Aronsen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Eckstein showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Szczepan Wojtkiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Eckstein was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Christian Eckstein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siegfried Reuter went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Siegfried Reuter struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Christian Eckstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LuxTor. TSV 1860 München's Christian Eckstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Wojtkiewicz in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the TSV 1860 München defense, Siegfried Reuter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Eckstein. The TSV 1860 München fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Eckstein should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, TSV 1860 München's Willy Roth got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Christian Eckstein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Szczepan Wojtkiewicz went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Elmar Backer hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Siegfried Reuter took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Eckstein. Christian Eckstein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 33 minutes into the game, Willy Roth threw the ball into play from the sideline. LuxTor's Henry Walch quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Christian Eckstein came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by LuxTor's Siegfried Reuter. But to his dismay, Siegfried Reuter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The LuxTor fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when LuxTor's Szczepan Wojtkiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Szczepan Wojtkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl Happe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Siegfried Reuter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. LuxTor's Siegfried Reuter quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Willy Roth, made in the 52nd minute of the game. TSV 1860 München's Christian Eckstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Wojtkiewicz in the 54th minute of play. The LuxTor fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when LuxTor's Szczepan Wojtkiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Siegfried Reuter struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Christian Eckstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LuxTor. The crowd rose to their feet as LuxTor's Siegfried Reuter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Eckstein. That made the score 0-8 after 67 minutes of play. Siegfried Reuter was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 74thth minute of the game Karl Happe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LuxTor's Eddy Diederich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Eckstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siegfried Reuter, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Szczepan Wojtkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christian Eckstein, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Szczepan Wojtkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TSV 1860 München's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Szczepan Wojtkiewicz scored to the left of an out of position Christian Eckstein, making the score, 0-9. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Eckstein having to interfere. A hard shot 97 in the game by Szczepan Wojtkiewicz from a close distance when the talented Christian Eckstein managed to make a qualified save. TSV 1860 München's players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded LuxTor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TSV 1860 München.
