The Kidsgrove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Trausch should have stopped the shot. After 33 minutes, Marcus Jentzsch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kidsgrove and the Mondorf Forest players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcus Jentzsch kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Kidsgrove booed when Mondorf Forest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lazlo Guttenbrunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmondo Venditti in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Trausch saved Kidsgrove from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacques Lavigne to make the kick off.
