Mick Bronner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julien Zaugg, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of The Evil Project booed when USS Enterprise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jérôme Schmit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattias Werner charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Werner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jérôme Schmit in the 23rd minute of play forced The Evil Project's goalkeeper Mick Bronner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bart Behringer scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basilio Barrientos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Evil Project's Christian Gottschalk got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in USS Enterprise's zone, Christian Gottschalk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Barrientos came out of the goal and Christian Gottschalk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Christian Gottschalk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, The Evil Project's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Zaugg came free, but Mick Bronner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Steffen Becker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Otto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
