Spectators: 10867 (Terracing: 8151, Seating: 2499, VIP seats: 217) LuxTor's Szczepan Wojtkiewicz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Rex Lippmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddie Imhoff was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Szczepan Wojtkiewicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Freddie Imhoff was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Szczepan Wojtkiewicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Freddie Imhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siegfried Reuter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Imhoff having to interfere. When Siegfried Reuter came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the LuxTor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siegfried Reuter couldn't finish the play. Freddie Imhoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siegfried Reuter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siegfried Reuter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Golden Pass AFC's goalkeeper Freddie Imhoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szczepan Wojtkiewicz. LuxTor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnt Aronsen in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steffen Geschke to make the kick off. The supporters of Golden Pass AFC booed when LuxTor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Häussler was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A hard shot 53 in the game by Steffen Geschke from a close distance when the talented Eddy Diederich managed to make a qualified save. LuxTor's players were relieved. The supporters of Golden Pass AFC booed when LuxTor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siegfried Reuter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siegfried Reuter hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Szczepan Wojtkiewicz in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie Imhoff saved Golden Pass AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Wojtkiewicz in the 73rd minute of play forced Golden Pass AFC's goalkeeper Freddie Imhoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Hellmuth Habermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Diederich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Golden Pass AFC were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after LuxTor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolas Häussler took the corner. After taking down the ball on Golden Pass AFC's corner Nicolas Häussler fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eddy Diederich quite easily take care of the ball. Freddie Imhoff came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by LuxTor's Siegfried Reuter. But to his dismay, Siegfried Reuter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Victor Faas made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LuxTor's Rudy Pflüger. In the 87th minute of the match LuxTor got a corner. Golden Pass AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnt Aronsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 92nd minute, Szczepan Wojtkiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LuxTor had played much better football throughout.
