Luca Beaumont's late challenge caught a FC Lëtzebuerg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Beaumont helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Luca Beaumont hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Trausch came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lëtzebuerg's Serdar Gulson. But to his dismay, Serdar Gulson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Karl Trausch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serdar Gulson in the 12th minute of play. When Luca Beaumont was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 15 minutes had been played. After 16 played minutes Kidsgrove got a freekick which was hit by Luca Beaumont. The audience was convinced that Serdar Gulson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Trausch was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Serdar Gulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Trausch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Serdar Gulson notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Kidsgrove's Karl Trausch. Karl Trausch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Qiu Xi Wen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Serdar Gulson took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Karl Trausch to make any attempt to save it. Karl Trausch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serdar Gulson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Karl Trausch made a huge save. Abraham Pflaumenbaum took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl Trausch. Karl Trausch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 46th match minute, FC Lëtzebuerg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Pflaumenbaum to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serdar Gulson made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Kidsgrove got a freekick which was hit by Robin Schmitt. The supporters of FC Lëtzebuerg booed when Kidsgrove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perry Kaiser didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Serdar Gulson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serdar Gulson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when FC Lëtzebuerg's Serdar Gulson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute Serdar Gulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Trausch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kidsgrove's Karl Trausch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Izotz in the 85th minute of play. Cirilo Izotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Trausch having to interfere. Karl Trausch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Izotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Trausch came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lëtzebuerg's Cirilo Izotz. But to his dismay, Cirilo Izotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0.
