Mondorf Forest's Martin Steffen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Mondorf Forest from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Stefan Horowitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Imhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steffen Geschke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Martin Steffen made a huge save. Mondorf Forest's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
