Seating: 2491, VIP seats: 216) Serdar Gulson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute Serdar Gulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Eckstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elmar Backer during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Lëtzebuerg booed when TSV 1860 München was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmar Backer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qiu Xi Wen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Pflaumenbaum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the TSV 1860 München defense, Serdar Gulson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Eckstein. The TSV 1860 München fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Eckstein should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Pflaumenbaum in the 25th minute of play forced TSV 1860 München's goalkeeper Christian Eckstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
