When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Julien Zaugg put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Karl Trausch. Julien Zaugg took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl Trausch. Karl Trausch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 32nd minute, Manuel Etxekopar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Trausch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julien Zaugg, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Kidsgrove's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Zaugg came free, but Karl Trausch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Julien Zaugg made the kick off in the second half. Karl Trausch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julien Zaugg in the 53rd minute. Giles Klopp hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. USS Enterprise's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florian Otto in the 56th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kidsgrove's goalie and right to Ivan Schneider. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kidsgrove's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Julien Zaugg in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl Trausch, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Karl Trausch managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when USS Enterprise's Julien Zaugg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Karl Trausch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julien Zaugg's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Robin Schmitt kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Julien Zaugg struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Karl Trausch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USS Enterprise. Julien Zaugg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl Trausch came out and tried to block the shot, but Julien Zaugg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 76th minute. In the 81st match minute, Kidsgrove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giles Klopp to maneuver through the defense. Julien Zaugg struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Karl Trausch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USS Enterprise. After 83 played minutes Kidsgrove got a freekick which was hit by Giles Klopp. When Julien Zaugg came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the USS Enterprise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julien Zaugg couldn't finish the play. Hugo Mutzel kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Karl Trausch was a little too slow when Florian Otto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-8. In the 93rd minute, USS Enterprise's Julien Zaugg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9.
