After 26 played minutes, Mondorf Forest's Vincent Gessler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fredrik Winkler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mondorf Forest reached it. Joseph Mayer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Steffen having to make a save. A collision led to Beeston getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Christian Adelstein hit a great ball. Beeston's Fredrik Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Göbl in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Mondorf Forest getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Edmondo Venditti hit a great ball. Joseph Mayer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Beeston getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Paul Kirchen hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmondo Venditti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Steffen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Báez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Felipe Báez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Steffen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Schmit kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Joseph Mayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Báez in the 72nd minute of play forced Mondorf Forest's goalkeeper Martin Steffen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
