When Florian Otto came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the USS Enterprise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Otto couldn't finish the play. Basilio Barrientos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Szczepan Wojtkiewicz went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, LuxTor's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Schneider came free, but Eddy Diederich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddy Diederich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julien Zaugg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddy Diederich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julien Zaugg's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. LuxTor's Eddy Diederich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Zaugg in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julien Zaugg in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddy Diederich saved LuxTor from getting behind. Rudy Pflüger kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Basilio Barrientos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LuxTor. After having played for 27 minutes, Jérôme Schmit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USS Enterprise's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jérôme Schmit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddy Diederich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julien Zaugg went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the game, Florian Otto threw the ball into play from the sideline. LuxTor's Hugo Thorn quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Basilio Barrientos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Walch in the 38th minute of play forced USS Enterprise's goalkeeper Basilio Barrientos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Etxekopar made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LuxTor's Hugo Thorn. Eddy Diederich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julien Zaugg's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julien Zaugg to make the kick off. If Szczepan Wojtkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 played minutes LuxTor got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Pflüger. 57 minutes into the match, USS Enterprise's goal looked a bit too open when Siegfried Reuter came free, but Basilio Barrientos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Eddy Diederich managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when USS Enterprise's Julien Zaugg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 62 minutes into the match, Rudy Pflüger notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of USS Enterprise's Basilio Barrientos. Basilio Barrientos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eddy Diederich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julien Zaugg in the 66th minute. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Barrientos having to interfere. Julien Zaugg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eddy Diederich came out and tried to block the shot, but Julien Zaugg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 71st minute. LuxTor's Henry Walch quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Florian Otto, made in the 74th minute of the game. Basilio Barrientos came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by LuxTor's Szczepan Wojtkiewicz. But to his dismay, Szczepan Wojtkiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Rudy Pflüger hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Barrientos having to interfere. Rudy Pflüger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Florian Otto in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LuxTor's Henry Walch. 87 minutes into the game, Florian Otto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. USS Enterprise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LuxTor the free kick. 89 minutes into the game, Siegfried Reuter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Basilio Barrientos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Szczepan Wojtkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Barrientos having to interfere.
