To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the game, Rex Lippmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Pass AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TSV 1860 München the free kick. After a rather tough play, Golden Pass AFC's Rex Lippmann got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Karl Happe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Imhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes, Benjamin Rauschenberger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Pass AFC and the TSV 1860 München players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Happe to strike the kick off in the second half. Freddie Imhoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Klepper in the 56th minute of the match.
