If Antonio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Caduff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cliff Waller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Theodore Frutig took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marko Christen to make any attempt to save it. Theodore Frutig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Christen having to interfere. Cliff Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopold Schäpper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopold Schäpper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Fabio Caduff's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cliff Waller was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theodore Frutig was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Schneider scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marko Christen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wem's Marko Christen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodore Frutig in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Schneider in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marko Christen saved Wem from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Caduff in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cliff Waller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Caduff in the 86th minute of play forced Thamesmead FC's goalkeeper Cliff Waller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Fabio Caduff could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Cliff Waller however easily saved by the left post. Rafael Albrecher hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Fabio Caduff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Cliff Waller made a huge save. If Theodore Frutig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th match minute, Wem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Fischer to maneuver through the defense. The Thamesmead FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
