Lutz Elkuch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Igor Brunner made a huge save. Vinzenz Röschli struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Chris Güthoff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club 1979. 9 minutes into the game, Wendelin Hirsch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Igor Brunner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wendelin Hirsch struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Igor Brunner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Brody. After 15 played minutes Club 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Wendelin da Silva. The audience was convinced that Wendelin Hirsch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Brunner was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Igor Brunner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wendelin Hirsch in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Club 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wendelin da Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Hasler Walser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Brody's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hasler Walser in the 25th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Wendelin Hirsch advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 25th minute. If Wendelin Hirsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Weirath recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Brody getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Rudi Winnepennincks hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Club 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Hassler. When Hasler Walser came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Brody fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hasler Walser couldn't finish the play. Wendelin Hirsch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Igor Brunner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 48 minutes into the match, Club 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Hasler Walser came free, but Igor Brunner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wendelin Hirsch was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Wendelin Hirsch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wendelin Hirsch in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Brunner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Berno during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Club 1979 getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Lucas Berno hit a great ball. If Rico Donath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, FC Brody's Flavio Weirath got a free kick in the 60th minute. FC Brody's Lutz Elkuch got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Wendelin Hirsch put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Igor Brunner. Igor Brunner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wendelin Hirsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Diego Ryffel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wendelin da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 79 minutes, Wendelin Hirsch made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club 1979's Igor Brunner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Igor Brunner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wendelin Hirsch's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Igor Brunner didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Brody's Wendelin Hirsch shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. FC Brody's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
