Spectators: 6966 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1966, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 7th match minute, Hornsea City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giacomo Leutwyler to maneuver through the defense. Benito Zanier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Sam Sele skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 15th minute, Benito Zanier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sam Sele was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Benito Zanier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glossop's Sam Sele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giacomo Leutwyler in the 26th minute of play. Christoph Topcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Kai Moret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kai Moret having to interfere. Sam Sele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giacomo Leutwyler, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian da Silva to make the kick off. Florian da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Kai Moret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Constantin Gassner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glossop fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Giacomo Leutwyler struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Sam Sele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hornsea City. In the 61st minute Benito Zanier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Sele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Benito Zanier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giacomo Leutwyler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sam Sele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Glossop's zone, Benito Zanier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sam Sele came out of the goal and Benito Zanier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kai Moret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian da Silva in the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Florian da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glossop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
