Seating: 1900, VIP seats: 40) Paul Dinkelmann made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harald Topcu during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Harald Topcu hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Vaduz's Lucas Alabor got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 9 played minutes FC Vaduz got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Berthold. Pascal Martini hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, FC Vaduz's Damian Falk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lukas Gruber. Lukas Gruber yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Southampton AFC's Lukas Gruber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by René Demirci in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute René Demirci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Gruber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Erne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Sele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Erne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Dinkelmann's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Lukas Gruber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from René Demirci in the 24th minute of the match. Lukas Gruber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Berthold in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Southampton AFC's goalkeeper Lukas Gruber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Falk. A collision led to FC Vaduz getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. René Demirci hit a great ball. Damian Falk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Lukas Gruber made a huge save. In the 38th match minute, FC Vaduz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Berthold to maneuver through the defense. Lukas Gruber made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Damian Falk sent off a good shot on target. The Southampton AFC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Southampton AFC's Paul Dinkelmann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laurin Rheinberger to strike the kick off in the second half. Pascal Martini's late challenge caught a FC Vaduz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascal Martini helped the player get up and apologised. Pascal Martini hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Paul Dinkelmanns short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Fabian Erne to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 81st minute of the match Pascal Martini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Erne skillfully saved the ball. If Marc Burali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Demirci in the 93rd minute of play forced Southampton AFC's goalkeeper Lukas Gruber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukas Gruber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Falk, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurin Rheinberger in the 95th minute of play forced Southampton AFC's goalkeeper Lukas Gruber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
