Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Loose in the 3rd minute of play forced Mauren's goalkeeper Nigg Ammann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nigg Ammann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Thöny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nigg Ammann made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Victor Frick sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Batliner in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nigg Ammann saved Mauren from getting behind. Thomas Batliner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nigg Ammann having to make a save. 16 minutes into the game, Mats Vögeli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mauren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wootton Bassett City the free kick. After 16 played minutes Mauren got a freekick which was hit by Mats Vögeli. Antoni Thöny struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Nigg Ammann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wootton Bassett City. 22 minutes into the game, Thomas Batliner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nigg Ammann. Thomas Batliner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Nigg Ammann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Frick in the 26th minute of the match. Victor Frick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mauren's zone, Anton Loose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nigg Ammann came out of the goal and Anton Loose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nigg Ammann was a little too slow when Victor Frick got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-0. When Mauren's Robin Blumenthal in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wootton Bassett City's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredi Schädler in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nigg Ammann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Frick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigg Ammann having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mauren's zone, Victor Frick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nigg Ammann came out of the goal and Victor Frick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Frick to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Antoni Thöny notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Mauren's Nigg Ammann. Nigg Ammann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th match minute, Mauren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Meier to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Mauren's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Frick came free, but Nigg Ammann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antoni Thöny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nigg Ammann having to make a save. The supporters of Mauren booed when Wootton Bassett City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Batliner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Wootton Bassett City's Pascal Gschwentner got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Anton Loose notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Mauren's Nigg Ammann. Nigg Ammann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Antoni Thöny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sele Vuleta kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Victor Frick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nigg Ammann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Thomas Batliner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wootton Bassett City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Batliner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nigg Ammann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Frick, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Mauren's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Batliner came free, but Nigg Ammann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Mauren's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Batliner came free, but Nigg Ammann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
