Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Sele in the 5th minute of play forced Alresford AFC's goalkeeper Ted Bättig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Alresford AFC's Robert Hengemühl got a free kick in the 10th minute. Mathias Frommelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emil Sele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Bättig having to interfere. The supporters of Youth City booed when Alresford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Kessler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Mathias Frommelt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Youth City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Emil Sele might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ted Bättig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Sele ran back to his position shaking his head. Ted Bättig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Sele's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Brian Kessler's late challenge caught a Youth City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brian Kessler helped the player get up and apologised. If Gerhard Hamazic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Alresford AFC defense, Emil Sele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ted Bättig. The Alresford AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Bättig should have stopped the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josh Räss made a kick off. With a little luck, Alresford AFC's Ted Bättig got control of the ball when Mathias Frommelt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gallus Paly hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Mathias Frommelt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alresford AFC's Ted Bättig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Martin Bernuzzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes in the game, Emil Sele fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ted Bättig having to interfere. Ted Bättig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Youth City's zone, Josh Räss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adin Pollakowski came out of the goal and Josh Räss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mathias Frommelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ted Bättig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emil Sele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Frommelt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Ted Bättig skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 96 played minutes Youth City got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Mehuka. Youth City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
