Fabio Schädler's late challenge caught a Yateley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Nymann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dietmar Sele, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Karlheinz Capobianco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinand Nymann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. If Dietmar Sele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dietmar Sele struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ferdinand Nymann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hayling Island. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dietmar Sele in the 72nd minute of play forced Yateley's goalkeeper Ferdinand Nymann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karlheinz Capobianco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinand Nymann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dietmar Sele in the 78th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Yateley got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Sele. Dietmar Sele did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Ferdinand Nymann 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hayling Island booed when Yateley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Riegler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ben Kupnik was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hayling Island's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
