Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) Parmenide's Franco Citrullo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Fornase getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Domenico Bassani hit a great ball. Parmenide's Aldo Fioravanti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Parmenide from getting a goal against them. Dino Forlani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 10 minutes of play, Parmenide's Alessandro Canuto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ennio Antico was left in no man's land by his defense there! Franco Citrullo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Antico having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Attilio Antenucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Franco Luongo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aldo Fioravanti. The goal made the score 1-1. Parmenide's Franco Citrullo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alessandro Canuto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th match minute, Fornase was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Cirigliano to maneuver through the defense. If Cosimo Tedeschi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, Parmenide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Basilico to maneuver through the defense. Ennio Antico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Canuto in the 44th minute of the match. If Attilio Antenucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Fulvio Guerrini made the kick off in the second half. Attilio Antenucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Antico having to interfere. Alessandro Canuto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ennio Antico made a huge save. Aldo Fioravanti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Guerrini in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Franco Citrullo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parmenide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Citrullo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fornase's goalkeeper Ennio Antico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabrizio Bottega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ennio Antico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Fioravanti came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Fornase's Dino Forlani. But to his dismay, Dino Forlani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Attilio Antenucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ennio Antico made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Alessandro Canuto sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Bottega in the 87th minute of play forced Fornase's goalkeeper Ennio Antico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrizio Bottega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Fabrizio Bottega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ennio Antico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Bottega in the 97th minute of the match. Parmenide's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Fornase had won, even though Parmenide had held more of the ball.
