Spectators: 7146 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antonello Porro made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Giusti in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Primavera saved Lughetto FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Antonello Porro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabiano Locatelli. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. When Antonello Porro came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Lughetto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonello Porro couldn't finish the play. Lughetto FC's attentive Anthony Di Cola managed to snatch the ball when Ernesto Strazzabosco made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Antonello Porro took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Locatelli. Fabiano Locatelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonello Porro in the 25th minute of play forced Chieti's goalkeeper Fabiano Locatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Antonello Porro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 31 minutes, Antonello Porro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lughetto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonello Porro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Panno's late challenge caught a Lughetto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Panno helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lughetto FC booed when Chieti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Panno didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Adriano Florio made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play Chieti's Alfredo Panno was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Chieti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lughetto FC:s goal. If Adriano Florio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Locatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Porro in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Chieti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Florio to maneuver through the defense. Antonello Porro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Locatelli having to interfere. Domenico Circelli kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Lughetto FC's Concetto Camerlengo tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lughetto FC's Arturo Primavera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Florio in the 68th minute of play. Arturo Primavera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Giusti, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Chieti's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Porro came free, but Fabiano Locatelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Chieti's Aldo Giusti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Primavera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonello Porro in the 85th minute of play forced Chieti's goalkeeper Fabiano Locatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Franco Di Silvio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chieti's Damiano Spione got a free kick in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chieti's zone, Antonello Porro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Locatelli came out of the goal and Antonello Porro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonello Porro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Fabiano Locatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lughetto FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
