Ferdinando Petrella might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amerigo Cimino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdinando Petrella ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the game, GM Team's Kaká Hames nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amerigo Cimino went to the wrong direction when Ferruccio Di Persio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, GM Team's Douglas Hedling got a free kick in the 34th minute. GM Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Ferdinando Petrella scored to the left of an out of position Amerigo Cimino, making the score, 1-1. Lalo Alabern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47thth minute of the game Lalo Alabern who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aurelia's Cristiano Barresi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lalo Alabern made a kick off. After 55 minutes GM Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferruccio Di Persio who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ferdinando Petrella advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-2 in the 55th minute. With his leg Cristiano Barresi managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when GM Team's Lalo Alabern fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lalo Alabern in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristiano Barresi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 64th minute, Will Fly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lalo Alabern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Barresi having to interfere. Ferdinando Petrella hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Aurelia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GM Team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
