In the 22nd minute Concetto Cirelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Zangari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Adriano De Marco made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Panico. Castel Mella's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in S. Arcangelo Trimonte's zone, Alvise Pich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Zangari came out of the goal and Alvise Pich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosimo Trevisani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Panico having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano De Marco got free with Dennis Panico in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, S. Arcangelo Trimonte's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Cirelli came free, but Aurelio Zangari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cosimo Trevisani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvise Pich made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano De Marco in the 53rd minute of play forced Castel Mella's goalkeeper Dennis Panico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Davide Moschetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvise Pich in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Zangari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cosimo Trevisani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anfilogino Scarpone's late challenge caught a Castel Mella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anfilogino Scarpone helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, S. Arcangelo Trimonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Scarpone to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Castel Mella's Alvise Pich fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. Alvise Pich showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Castel Mella's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
