Claudio Giovannelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Enzo Schiavoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bianco Gizzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the match, As Giarre Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Bianco Gizzi came free, but Enzo Schiavoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Giovannelli took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Schiavoni. Enzo Schiavoni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 29th match minute, As Giarre Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Proietto to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Barra FC's Bianco Gizzi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enzo Schiavoni. Enzo Schiavoni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Enzo Schiavoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Gizzi in the 39th minute of the match. After some careless play in the As Giarre Calcio defense, Bruno Cesare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Schiavoni. The As Giarre Calcio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Schiavoni should have stopped the shot. Bianco Gizzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bianco Gizzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Schiavoni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bianco Gizzi ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bianco Gizzi to make the kick off. Enzo Apolloni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Schiavoni having to interfere. Anthony Mauro struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Enzo Schiavoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barra FC. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barra FC had played much better football throughout.
