If 宋磊真 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute Antonello Ciaccia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Sampo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Palermo booed when Bure AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Di Tommaso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 宋磊真 was the one to do the kick off. 宋磊真 scored 0-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Sampo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 宋磊真's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Alexander Sampo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Sampo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Mosca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bianco Forte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Serafini in the 92nd minute of play. The Palermo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
