JUVENTUS's Eugenio Farina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Federici in the 4th minute of play. In the 11th minute Fortunato Federici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Farina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Eugenio Farina successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ennio Oriali managed to get in a good position for a shot. JUVENTUS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ennio Oriali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Allemandi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fortunato Federici stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Cellino San Marco's protests and gave Alfredo Donati a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Alfredo Donati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cellino San Marco getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Andrea Savini hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Ennio Oriali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ennio Oriali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bruno Allemandi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ennio Oriali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Bruno Allemandi made a huge save. Ennio Orialis short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Bruno Allemandi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. JUVENTUS were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
