The referee ignored San Barnaba AFC's protests and gave Franco Forlano a yellow card for diving instead. If Franco Forlano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille De Lellis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Stumpo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franco Forlano got free with Dave Stumpo in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Traini during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Achille De Lellis made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Stumpo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Franco Forlano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Achille Colonna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Di Marzio in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Achille De Lellis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Stumpo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Sivieri in the 88th minute of play forced Real Zebrate's goalkeeper Dave Stumpo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes San Barnaba AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Grifoni. Achille Colonna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Bobbio, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Fortunato Grifoni kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Dave Stumpo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fortunato Grifoni went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.
