Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Daniele Maranzano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amos Coletti got free with Arrigo Macchione in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 minutes, Carlo Ruzzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Giacomo FC and the Migliaro AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlo Martelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Carlo Martelli took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arrigo Macchione to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Martelli in the 23rd minute of play forced San Giacomo FC's goalkeeper Arrigo Macchione to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amos Coletti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes San Giacomo FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Bertini. In the 28th minute Carlo Martelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Macchione saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achille Vitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Edoardo Scarinci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Davide Sivieri fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Migliaro AFC's protests and gave Davide Sivieri a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Migliaro AFC's Davide Sivieri got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Achille Vitelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Scarinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Amos Coletti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arrigo Macchione, passed just outside the right post. If Amos Coletti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Carlo Martelli made the kick off in the second half. Migliaro AFC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after San Giacomo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damiano Di Donato took the corner. Carlo Ruzzi thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Arrigo Macchione, a very annoying self made goal in the 56th minute which led to 2-0. Carlo Martelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Arrigo Macchione tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, San Giacomo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Maranzano to maneuver through the defense. If Carlo Martelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arrigo Macchione made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Coletti in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Coletti in the 83rd minute of play forced San Giacomo FC's goalkeeper Arrigo Macchione to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3-0 became the score in the 85th minute when Carlo Martelli elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Carlo Martelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arrigo Macchione read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play.
