Franco Andreozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, CARRARESE CALCIO's Maël Betti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Damiani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Dino Angelici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Trasatti. CARRARESE CALCIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dino Angelici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 21st match minute, CARRARESE CALCIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olav Saamatu to maneuver through the defense. If Dino Angelici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Trasatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Liberatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 29 played minutes CARRARESE CALCIO got a freekick which was hit by Olav Saamatu. After a rather tough play, CARRARESE CALCIO's Enrico Di Gennaro got a free kick in the 31st minute. Maël Betti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Alvaro Damiani made a huge save. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Maël Betti sped through Colchoneros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alvaro Damiani. 46 minutes into the match, CARRARESE CALCIO's Tadeusz Burufski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Damiani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dino Angelici made a kick off. Concetto Amatori hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Francesco Ferraris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 56 minutes into the match, Maël Betti notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Colchoneros's Alvaro Damiani. Alvaro Damiani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CARRARESE CALCIO's Fulvio Del Monaco was substituted for Maël Betti. In the 76th minute Fulvio Del Monaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Damiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Colchoneros's goal looked a bit too open when Olav Saamatu came free, but Alvaro Damiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulvio Del Monaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Damiani having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Colchoneros's Armando Liberatore got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Del Monaco in the 89th minute of play forced Colchoneros's goalkeeper Alvaro Damiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olav Saamatu in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Damiani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CARRARESE CALCIO had played much better football throughout.
