If Ercole Boccanera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Di Massimo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Induno Olona AFC! Ciccio Di Carlo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Bassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amedeo Miccoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Boccanera, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Diego Bassi put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Amedeo Miccoli.
