After having played for 12 minutes, Frank Uguccioni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Induno Olona AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Uguccioni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pergola FC's Damiano Rotili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Antonioni in the 16th minute of play. Frank Uguccioni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Rotili having to interfere. If Demetrio Antonioni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes, Armando De Carolis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Induno Olona AFC and the Pergola FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pergola FC booed when Induno Olona AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando De Carolis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Pergola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Uguccioni came free, but Damiano Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Uguccioni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Rotili having to interfere. When Demetrio Antonioni came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Induno Olona AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demetrio Antonioni couldn't finish the play. Pergola FC's Damiano Rotili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Uguccioni in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Induno Olona AFC's Demetrio Antonioni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damiano Rotili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Uguccioni in the 46th minute of play forced Pergola FC's goalkeeper Damiano Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Induno Olona AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Frank Uguccioni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Induno Olona AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Uguccioni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Rotili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damiano Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Uguccioni in the 60th minute of play. After 61 played minutes, Induno Olona AFC's Beppe Mazzola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damiano Rotili came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Induno Olona AFC reached it. Damiano Rotili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demetrio Antonioni in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute Frank Uguccioni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Rotili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Induno Olona AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pergola FC throughout the match.
