After having played for 35 minutes, Enzo Romanese managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feletto Umberto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Romanese was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Elg in the 47th minute of play forced Feletto Umberto's goalkeeper Damiano Bertoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Puddu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. I Vampiri Assassini's Adriano Federici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Romanese in the 52nd minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Cesare Lauria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Feletto Umberto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave I Vampiri Assassini the free kick. In the 88th minute, one of Feletto Umberto:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Feletto Umberto. The referee gave I Vampiri Assassini a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fedele Tana, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Feletto Umberto's Damiano Bertoni. 3-0. Adriano Federici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Puddu, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Feletto Umberto's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because I Vampiri Assassini had won, even though Feletto Umberto had held more of the ball.
