To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Trevignano's Emilio Preda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrico Staniscia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabrizio Alfieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Carlo Motta made the kick off in the second half. When Carlo Motta came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the ASD BESTIEDEBESTIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Motta couldn't finish the play. Ciro Basso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee ignored ASD BESTIEDEBESTIO's protests and gave Enrico Sciotto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ASD BESTIEDEBESTIO getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Enrico Sciotto hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the ASD BESTIEDEBESTIO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
