Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sarzana's Franco Arcari started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Fedele Salerno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Claudio Bussi, 1-0. In the 6th minute of the match, Elia Armellini got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claudio Bussi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Leonessa's Alfredo Del Duca got a free kick in the 8th minute. With an all-out effort, Leonessa's Claudio Bussi threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fedele Salerno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 16 minutes, Franco Arcari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarzana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Arcari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Leonessa's Elia Armellini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudio Bussi. Claudio Bussi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 23rd match minute, Leonessa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Del Duca to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th match minute, Sarzana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Muzzolon to maneuver through the defense. Sarzana's Claudio Bussi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Del Duca in the 28th minute of play. Sarzana were furious when Alfonso Iacovella was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sarzana! After 34 played minutes Sarzana got a freekick which was hit by Franco Arcari. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Elia Armellini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leonessa's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Armellini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Bussi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Elia Armellini could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Claudio Bussi however easily saved by the left post. After 46 minutes, Amos Muzzolon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarzana and the Leonessa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amos Muzzolon hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Claudio Bussi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Armellini, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Elia Armellini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Bussi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alfredo Del Duca came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Leonessa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Del Duca couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Elia Armellini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Bussi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Salerno in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Leonessa's Alfredo Del Duca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Bussi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 67th minute, Franco Arcari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Fedele Salerno in the 69th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Claudio Bussi's left hand side. Franco Arcari kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Claudio Bussi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Armellini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alessio Cavaliere came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Leonessa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessio Cavaliere couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Leonessa booed when Sarzana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Gallucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Fedele Salerno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Bussi. Sarzana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedele Salerno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Elia Armellini scored 7-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Bussi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute Elia Armellini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Bussi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Fedele Salerno made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Bussi. Sarzana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Leonessa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
